Busy November

November 30th, 2010

Hey, there! It’s been quite a crazy month for me. In addition to participating in HandmadeMN’s Fall Market on Nov. 20th, I’ve been plugging away all month at the craziness that is known as NaNoWriMo.

First: HandmadeMN is an etsy group, of which I am a proud member. You can find more info about us by going here –> http://www.etsy.com/people/HandmadeMN

The Fall Market was a great time! So many of my fabulous family and friends came out to support me, and I sold quite a few items. It was a long day, but it was worth it!

Second: NaNoWriMo is shorthand for National Novel Writing Month. You can find my NaNo profile by going here –> http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/716545

Those of us who take part in the month long writing marathon are trying to achieve the goal of 50,000 words in 30 days time. This is my first time participating, and it’s been an interesting process. It’s the last day in November and I’ve still got over 2000 words to go… will I make it and be able to say that I’m a NaNoWriMo winner? Watch and see… I’ll keep you posted!

UPDATE!!

I did it! I just reached 50,000 words in my novel! :) check it out: http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/wordcount/youwon

Thanks for stopping by!

I just had a great weekend in Alexandria, Mn; We attended the Carlos Creek Winery’s 10th Annual Grape Stomp Festival as a Juried Artist and Vendor. It was a fabulous experience, both for selling my work and for how much I learned in the process. Many thanks to all of my friends and family who came out to support me!

My next Craft Show event is slated for November 20th, and will be at the VFW in Uptown Minneapolis. I will post later with more details. In the meantime, you can always find new info from me on Twitter and Facebook. There are links on the bar at the bottom of the website. I would love to hear from you on either networking medium, so follow/fan away!

Thanks!!

Jenny
